abusive or neglected life. So, the case of minors being abused in foster homes is
unacceptable talk more of by their adopted families.

in jail.
The woman named Lauren Myres,
a 26-year-old was sentenced jail on a one-count charge of sexual abuse on a
minor. To complete her person term, she will have to undergo sex offender counseling,
and she will be put on sex offender probation for four years. Myres will also
have to register as a sex offender for the rest of her life.
The problem started in May
2018 when the law enforcement officials were given a tip-off by neighbors about
an inappropriate relationship between Myres and her 17-year-old adopted son.
Myres has worked as a caseworker for Families First Network, who originally had
been assigned the victim as a child she was to assist. She eventually decided
to foster the child, and then adopt him. After the adoption was finalized, it
was discovered Myres and the victim were having sex. That singular act of indiscretion
