Real Life Rapunzel Heads into Guinness Book of Records
When you think Rapunzel was
just an animation movie to entertain children and adults at heart, I guess you
will be thrown off to see that a human fits the cartoon bill.
Nilanshi Patel, of Gujarat,
India, has been growing out her hair since she was six, and right now, she has
been certified as the girl with the longest hair and sailed straight into the Guinness
book of records.
The odd urge to grow out her
hair started at the age of six after she had a pretty ugly haircut, and has
since then vowed to keep intact every strand of her hair.
As of now, Nilanshi’s hair
is 5 feet, 7 inches long, and they are quite some breathtaking locks.
On the plus side, the 16-year-old
said the hair never gets in her way of doing whatever she wants.
